The week started off for Freja on friday when she walked in Burberry Prorsum, as expected. I can't remember the last time she didn't walk this show.

What was unexpected was her appearance at Alberta Ferretti. This was her first time walking the show and it was one 0f the bigger surprises for me. I always associate Alberta Ferretti with Steven Meisel because he is the photographer for their ad campaigns. I guess I also assumed he casts their show like he casts Anna Sui. And if Meisel is involved in something then you autmatically know that Freja won't be involved in it at all. I guess I was wrong and Meisel only shoots the campaigns.

On Freja's second day in Milan, we saw her at Emilio Pucci in thigh high boots and a one shouldered piece.

One shouldered seemed to be her theme for the day because she also wore a one shouldered look at Gucci. It was so nice to see her back walking Gucci again. When she isn't there things always seem a little off to me.

Sunday was a busy day starting with an early morning show at Marni. Like Gucci, this is one of those shows for me that just isn't complete without Freja. Maybe Consuela Castiglioni feels the same way because she gave Freja three looks.

The day continued on at Roberto Cavalli where a surprisingly dark and sleek collection showed up on the runways. Quite a departure from the garish prints I usually associate with Cavalli. I guess New Jersey housewives will need to find another designer to satisfy their animal print cravings. :)

On sunday night, Freja walked in Prada, easily the most anticipated show of Milan. She made her international debut as a Prada/Miu Miu exclusive back during the FW0506 season and it's nice to see that Freja hasn't lost favor with Muicca. Especially since Muicca is known to favor a constantly changing cast of newer girls.

Monday started off in a strange way as Freja walked in and opened the DSquared2 show holding a cup of Starbucks. I could not compute all these elements together and this still remains one of the weirder moments of fashion month for me.

Things were back to normal when Freja walked in Fendi later that day. You can always count on Karl.

She finished off Milan by walking the Pollini show. Sadly, there was no appearence at Versace. But on the bright side, Jonathan Saunders could be a Behan because Freja walked in his eponymous show back in NY and Pollini, of which he is head designer, in Milan.

Whew! Take a breather and use this next day to relax before Paris starts on thursday. The first day is a good one with Balenciaga, Balmain, Rick Owens and Nina Ricci all set to show. Where will Freja show up? Your guess is as good as mine.
