Chanel has just released the trailer for it's upcoming short film "The Tale of a Fairy." It looks deliciously full of lolz and I for one can't wait to see it. I need a good laugh right about now.....I think we all do after the craziness that life has thrown at the world: Japan, tornadoes in Alabama, Osama, etc... Freja plays the title role, which of course requires her to frolic around half naked, kissing random women. I guess Karl wanted her to feel comfortable with her role.
Anyway, the film will be shown Monday May 9th in conjunction with the Chanel Cruise show in Antibes. Us plebians will get to view the sure to be masterpiece on Tuesday, May 10th when it plays on Chanel.com. Until then, for your pleasure:
Edit: omg, Mark Vanderloo is going to be in this! I had the biggest crush on him when he did those DKNY ads with Ester Canadas. And I have to say that he's still looks amazing. Ahhhh flashbacks.
people is something I do not see Frey on the channel fashiontv. it this year as I understood, had missed some shows, and maybe all ... it is certainly good that she acted in magazines that Frey popular models, but podiums, it's even better .... recently watched first face countdown 11-12, and she was not there! I am afraid that her place someone took ... reassure me.

This movie has to be the best one yet :D 30mins sounds delicious, lol. Who knows maybe next year Karl even decides to enter the competition for Palme D'ore
I can't enjoy Karl's movies like some of you can. They are BAD, cringe-worthy, the second hand embarrassment is way too strong, the performances by the actors/models in need of improvement.
I understand that you should not take theses films too serious and they are meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek. But for me they fail completely in that regard, I don't laugh with the film but at it.
Karl should hire a good director for these projects.
^I think you're missing the point.....we are laughing at it. No one expects it to be a good movie. Karl is Karl and he's going to do whatever he wants. So you might as well just sit back and enjoy the laughs and amusement. No one is expecting a critical hit....in fact, I would argue that by now everyone watches these things precisely because they know it will be so bad that it's good. :P
I have to say, Anna Mouglalis looks rather fantastic. And, like the majority of people who are familiar with Karl's films...I'm looking forward to this one, too, haha!

Karl Karl Karl, I wonder what Freja is thinking when he asks her to do these things.
Maybe soon he'll release a full length feature that we can all sit back and enjoy....or well, amuse ourselves with.

^Not really. She's missed shows before, she'll miss them again. It's a busy time of year for models so I'm not that surprised. :)
